The business division for household products within Melitta Europa GmbH & Co. KG is active in various business areas, generates nearly half of the company group’s external revenues and constitutes the largest individual division.

The administration and maintenance of product data for the numerous product lines of Melitta Europa GmbH & Co. KG is handled centrally with the comprehensive solutions by prodexa Cloud (formerly jCatalog). Different divisions within the company use the data. Product data are used both for marketing and sales channels as well as for employee training and continuing education. For example, current new product information can be found in all necessary languages for print media and online shops as well as for training, e-leaning and employee development.
The Melitta Europa division for household products makes extensive use of the import and export functions of the PIM software by connecting product data from various data sources with a central system. prodexa Cloud can be adapted to the current company requirements at any time and thus remains open for new or updated product lines. Thanks to the prodexa Cloud OPC catalogue software, the roughly 1,500 employees in Melitta’s household products division have a fast and straightforward software for language-specific and country-specific product searches at all European locations. Furthermore, Melitta Europa is now capable of supplying the latest product data for all sales and marketing channels. Print media, online shop systems, marketplaces and numerous trade partners will be simultaneously supplied with high-quality product and price data from now on.
