Building on 60 years of experience in cable protection, this company group with its headquarters in Poing, Upper Bavaria, has become a leading and comprehensive high-value supplier that assists its customers as an intelligent partner for advisory and service. Apart from the original Automotive business, Delfingen Industry operates in several other sectors with its Industry and Appliances divisions. Across 60 locations worldwide, unified implementation of global strategies and a local presence for development, manufacture and sales is achieved by almost 30 production facilities at strategically important market sites as well as a mobile factory. The company has around 2,500 employees and generated total revenues of 290 million euros in 2018.
To manage and use the data for roughly 100,000 products, Delfingen Industry relies on an extensive solution package from prodexa Cloud (formerly jCatalog). Central product and image data management as well as an internal service portal are ensured by prodexa Cloud PIM and prodexa Cloud DAM. The service portal acts as a B2B shop for the international branches. The functions of the catalogue portal are also used for the Schlemmer intranet. In this context, prodexa Cloud OPC delivers rapid catalogue creation. For this large-scale project, prodexa contributed valuable industry experience from the cable sector, automotive world and industrial sector.
